The Persian Student Union hosted a celebration for Nowruz, or Persian New Year on March 28th. This celebration was one of the semester’s Culture Nights, a series of events hosted by Global Student Engagement.
The walls of the Tate Reception Hall were decorated with African flags on Saturday, Feb. 22, representing the various native countries for members of the African Graduate Students Forum at the University of Georgia.
The African Graduate Students Forum (AGSF) at the University of Georgia hosted a Taste of West Africa event on September 28. Fostering community engagement, it brought together students, faculty, and esteemed guests from the university and local community, including the mayor of Athens-Clarke County, Kelly Girtz.
